I AM FULLY ACCEPTED!

"Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am not longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants . . . But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fattened calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry." (Luke 18-19; 22-23)

"If Satan can cause you to feel that God doesn't accept you because of bad behavior. he can keep you in the far country for a long time. However, when you KNOW that your Father loves you and FULLY ACCEPTS you at all times, you feel an inward motivation to see the foolishness of your sins and to come running home, back into His arms.

Is there a place for confession in the Christian's life? Yes, if confession means acknowledging the foolishness and disobedience to the Father and then praising Him that we are ALREADY FORGIVEN AND ACCEPTED by Him. We don't need to beg for forgiveness. The Father relates to us from a forgiving heart because He loves us UNCONDITIONALLY! Do you FEEL unaccepted by God? If so, your feelings are tell you a lie! In Christ you are totally accepted by God! It's hard to passionately love someone you believe doesn't accept you. Failure to understand God's acceptance will create a barrier to intimacy."
