FIVE THOUGHTS TO CONSIDER ABOUT YOUR WORDS

Here are some thoughts for you to ponder about the use of your words:
1. God knows all your words: "Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all." (Psalm 139:4)
2. Your words reveal your heart: "For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man out of his good treasure brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth what is evil." Matthew 12:34-35
3. You will be accountable for your words: "And I say to you, that every careless word that men shall speak, they shall render account for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned." Matthew 12:36-37
4. You will be remembered for your words: "I'll quote your own words back to you: "'This is how God treats the wicked, this is what evil people can expect from God Almighty." Job 27:13
5. Your words can make a difference in someone's life:
"The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life." Proverbs 10:11 "There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of wise brings healing." Proverbs 12:18 "Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken in right circumstance." Proverbs 25:11
