HOW TO ENJOY INTIMACY AND FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WIFE OF YOUR YOUTH

Be willing to talk to your wife often. Tell her what's important to you.
Be willing to listen to your wife daily. Look in her eyes. Hold her hand.
Gaze into her eyes even if you aren't talking.
Stroke her face.
Give her a massage with no sexual touching.
Dedicate one night a week to holding your wife in bed without sexual touching.
Smile at your wife for no reason.
Applaud her accomplishments.
Turn off the TV and tune into your wife as intensely as you would lose the latest game.
Turn the kitchen into an oasis of emotional bonding. Join her in the kitchen and help cook dinner or clean up.
If your relationship with your parents was emotionally distant, realize that you are most likely projecting that relationship onto your marriage. Also, understand that your wife probably will feel about you the way you felt about your parents when you left home.
Ask your wife to make a list of the top seven things that would make her feel emotionally intimate with you. Commit to doing one day for a week.
Then start over the next week.
Tell your wife she's the most important person in your life.
Make a list of ways your wife has positively impacted your life and thank her for what's on the list.
Share your dreams with your wife.
Ask your wife to sit down. Kneel before her, take her hand, look in her eyes, and say, 'I would give my life for you.'"
